Hi! Im an international student and Im planning on transferring universities because the one I enrolled in was not accredited. The problem is if I cancel my enrollment, my i-20 (and student visa) would be revoked. Do online universities require I-20s also? I would prefer to stay here in california while pursuing my masters program from an online university and if they do require an i-20, I can easily apply for a new one. Thanks in advance!

If you are just posting links on things you googled, I am not interested. I am looking for people who were or are students of online schools and if they have any info to which are the best. I am worried they will not be looked at to an employer and it is my only way of fulfilling school at this time.

is accreditation of courses mandatory? what if a course is being offered yet it is not accredited?

I’m looking for a well-priced, reliable, accredited online university, but I have absolutely no idea where to start looking. Any suggestions? Also, I’m currently enrolled at a University. Would I need to transfer, or withdraw and then apply to the online school? Oh, and does anyone know if there is Financial Aid like FAFSA that will help if I’m attending an online college?

I’m from Egypt and I have a B.Sc. in Agriculture, what exactly do I need to get an M.S in computer science from an internationally accredited online university, I mean is there some pre-M.S degree or diploma I should take before applying for the M.S. degree since my bachelor field is irrelevant to computer science? AND is there any suggestions on respectable colleges or universities that offer what I need? Finally, what is the estimated cost?

I want to finish my bachelors degree and need to do it online (I have 2 babies at home and cannot attend night classes). I’ve already earned some credits towards my bachelors… but that was 10 years ago. I’ve read every bit of chat that was available… but want to hear from people who have actually participated, rcvd their degree, and have been able to obtain employment with it. I have a good deal of experience and track record… but this damn piece of paper seems to make or break certain positions (ex: pharmacuetical sales). Since I plan to go back to work when my kids are in school… I thought I’d better get my degree out of the way while I can. I’m in NY and would prefer a NY based college… but am open to any and all suggestions. Please only responses from people who have been there, done that!
Of course, tuition is also a consideration… as some of these online universities charge an astronomical fee per credit/class. I’d like to hear your experiences and advice.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and would like to get my master’s in psychology/counseling. I cannot afford to go into debt with a student loan. Ideas? I want to study online, ideas for colleges would be great!
