There are no online masters degrees in the area I want to master in anywhere in my state. I found some great sounding programs from universities in other states. I know that if you get a teaching certificate in one state, you have to sometimes do additional work to get certified to teach in a different state. So what if I got an online masters degree from a different state?

Must online businesses (online education) register to do business in each state where they have customers?

We would like to start up an online business, but we are unsure what we need to do regarding registering in other states. We are going to form an LLC in New York, but all of our business will be conducted via the Internet (online education). Do we need to register with each state in which we have a customer?
