What is the best way to find out if online courses metriculate for class credit?

I want to take classes online from University of Illinois Urbana. I don’t know much about online courses. I have talked to the University of Illinois, and they said they are accredited and do metriculate, but that I should check with the schools I am planning on applying to. I have not decided which graduate programs to apply to yet. Is there a way to see if these courses are widely accepted by gradutate programs?

You need to go to the website of the school you’d like to go to. They have a list of credits from other universities that will be accepted. Each school is different, so you need to check with the specific grad. school you’re interested in. If there is a search box on the school’s website, type in “transfer credit” or something to that event. It may take a little searching, but it’ll be worth checking into. If you can’t find it, call the school and ask for the exact website address.
